SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, BHADERWAH CAMPUS ORGANIZES PLACEMENT DRIVE (2023)
The School of Management Studies at Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, organized a successful Placement Drive for MBA students in collaboration with InsuranceDekho. The drive, held on 15th September 2023, aimed to connect students with job opportunities in the region. The event was led by Professor Rahul Gupta, Rector of Bhaderwah Campus, with planning and execution managed by Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj, former Training & Placement Coordinator, and other faculty members including Mohammad Avais, Head of the School of Management Studies, and Dr. Rohit Bhagat, Placement Coordinator.
InsuranceDekho, a part of the CarDekho group, offers an omnichannel platform for comparing and selecting insurance policies. The interview process was conducted by Vikram Thakur, J&K Head of InsuranceDekho. After a rigorous interview process, Taveel Khan and Akshit Gupta were selected for on-roll jobs with attractive salary packages.
The event began with a welcome address by Mohammad Avais, Head of the Department, who extended a warm welcome to the corporate guests, faculty, and participating students. Ajeet Singh and Himanshu Divedi presented information about the organization and the job profiles available. The placement process started with a written test, followed by personal interviews.
The placement drive was a significant success, reaffirming the School of Management Studies' commitment to providing market-relevant skills and career opportunities for its students.
SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, BHADERWAH CAMPUS ORGANIZES A PLACEMENT DRIVE OF ICICI BANK (2023)
The School of Management Studies at Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, organized a successful placement drive for its students, with ICICI Bank participating under the guidance of Professor Rahul Gupta, Rector of Bhaderwah Campus. ICICI Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, provided excellent job opportunities for students across various departments of the campus. Professor Gupta commended the School of Management Studies for organizing such initiatives that contribute to the holistic development of students.
The drive, aimed at offering employment opportunities to talented youth, was conducted by Ajeet Singh, Senior Executive, and Himanshu Divedi, Assistant Manager from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT). The rigorous selection process involved personal interviews, psychometric tests to assess interpersonal skills, domain knowledge, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and overall suitability for roles in the banking sector.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Rector, Bhaderwah Campus, faculty members, and students for their cooperation during the event. The placement drive was a great success and was coordinated by the faculty members of the campus, including Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj, Dr. Umesh Choudhary, Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Aishiya Gupta, Wasim Akram, and Vimal Kumar.
